Tropicana Inn Restaurant, Bar and Grill features Mexican dishes and seafood specialties. Relax in air-conditioned comfort with live tropical and Mexican music. Good prices, great food and friendly service.

The Tropicana Inn is a two story Hacienda style restaurant adjoining a boutique hotel. It was opened in 1985 by owner Ray Zakuru Okamoto who had originally came to Los Cabos on vacation and fell in love with San Jose as well as local girl named Armida Castro - who would soon become his wife. The Tropicana Inn was remodeled during 2005 and 2006 using Mexican colonial style architecture. The outdoor covered patio provides a casual dining experience with a live Mariachi band playing nightly.  Indoors, one will find a spacious dining room featuring elegant high beam ceilings and hand painted walls. Hundreds of candles illuminate the room, creating a romantic ambiance. The connecting bar area offers ample seating with a stage for live entertainment. The upper level of the restaurant features a dining area perfectly suited for large parties.

An additional VIP room fits up to 30 people for business lunches or private events. The entire restaurant is designed with a blend of Cuban and Mexican influences. Tropicana prides itself on being an exceptional restaurant providing superior food and service.

Local Executive Chef Antonio Avilez worked for various hotels such as the Crown Plaza and Fiesta Americana before finding his home at the Tropicana.  He specializes in traditional Mexican cuisines enhanced with his own special recipes to give his dishes a unique flavor ($135.00-280.00 pesos).
